Lock-out rescue
Date published: 27 June 2016
RESIDENTS have been told to take care while cooking after a woman locked herself out of her house.
Firefighters were called to Britannia Avenue, Shaw, at around 9pm on Friday after the woman left a pan of food on the cooker before going outside.
They used a ladder to get in though an open first-floor window and luckily the pan had not caught fire.
