THE sound of folk music saw crowds flock to Saddleworth for a host of artists, concerts and sing-along sessions.
The Saddleworth Folk Weekend - which was resurrected in 2015 after a four-year absence - ran from Friday until late on Sunday.
The main venue was the civic hall in Uppermill where festival-goers flocked for headline acts including Pilgrims Way, Other Roads, The Wilson Family and Stanley Accrington.
There was also a craft fair, cafe and performances at the conservative club, The Commercial and Christy's cafe bar as well as an open mic event.
Workshops included fiddle, whistle, bodhran, song and harmony singing and there was street entertainment courtesy of a host of morris teams including Saddleworth Morris Men.
