IMMIGRATION raids at a number of Oldham takeaways and restaurants on Friday saw two men arrested.

Police and immigration officers visited Chaska's takeaway, in Glodwick Road, just after 5pm and arrested the men aged 50 and 41.

The pair were taken into custody for "overstaying" and are currently being questioned.

The Greater Manchester Police investigation also saw raids on restaurants on Lee Street but no arrests were made.
