House damaged in bathroom fire

A HOUSE fire in Shaw has caused 'severe damage' after the property was accidentally set alight.
Firefighters from Chadderton and Oldham attended the incident in Chatsworth Close at around 4pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Chadderton fire service said: "There was a bathroom fire which caused severe damage and also smoke damage to the first floor of the building."
"The cause of the fire was accidental."
One fire engine attended from Oldham, one from Chadderton and another from Salford.
