Big One sex case men are bailed
Date published: 08 August 2008
A date has been provisionally set for the trial of two Oldham men accused of sex offences against four girls who were on an accompanied school trip to Blackpool.
They are accused of sexual activity with the girls when they went on the 70 mph Big One rollercoaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach last September.
Haqnawez Razzaq (26), of Brompton Street, and Asad Mahmood (19), of Queen Street, both Glodwick, were both granted unconditional bail at Preston Crown Court.
No charges were put to them at the hearing at the request of prosecuting counsel Dennis Watson.
The offences are alleged to have been committed on the ride, or in the queue.
The case was adjourned until October 27.
