POLICE are studying CCTV footage after trouble flared at the Oldham and Stockport County game on October 3.
Latics fans were led away by police after crowd trouble during their derby defeat at Edgeley Park.
Fighting took place after some Athletic fans bought tickets for the Cheadle End — a Stockport section of the ground — and began celebrating Andy Liddell’s opening goal mid-way through the first half.
The referee was forced to halt the game for a couple of minutes as it spilled on to the edge of the pitch.
Latics supporters blamed an inadequate allocation of 2,000 tickets for the hotly-anticipated League One clash.
