Manchester Phoenix warmed up for the English Premier League launch with a friendly win over rivals Sheffield Scimitars.
Tony Hand’s side won 3-2 on Saturday in Yorkshire and drew the second leg 3-3 to take the ‘War of the Roses’ trophy on aggregate.
