Belle Vue beat Ipswich 45-44 last night, in match where the result was in doubt to the final heat, to keep alive their hopes of avoiding the relegation play-off.
But the main news was a potentially serious injury to World Championship leader Jason Crump, who top scored with 12. Crump collided with Witches’ Troy Batchelor and early reports suggest he has dislocated a shoulder.
