Four-star Andre leads goal rush

ICE HOCKEY: 

ANDRE Payette grabbed four goals as Manchester Phoenix hammered Romford Raiders 12-3 last night.

Joe Graham and Robert Lachowicz also notched a brace apiece as Phoenix backed up a 4-1 win over Guildford on Saturday.

On Saturday, Steven Wallace and Lachowicz maintained their scoring form with two goals each as Phoenix got themselves back in the English Premier League title race.

Three players down through injury and travel issues, they dowsed the Guildford Flames with ease and were unlucky not to finish with a shut-out.

Phoenix were 3-0 up at the end of the first period and repelled Guildford’s attempted fightback without too many alarms.
