IT’S looking more and more like it could be between City and Liverpool for the Premier League title now.

Liverpool looked particularly strong on Sunday against Tottenham. They were all over Spurs and the final 4-0 scoreline didn’t flatter them.

Brendan Rodgers has got a phenomenal strike force at his disposal, while both individually and collectively they look like the team to beat.

It’s going to be an absolute cracker when City travel to Anfield a week on Sunday. Whether it will be a title decider I’m not yet sure, but there is no doubting it will be a huge game.

A draw for City would keep our title ambitions firmly in our own hands, though of course Southampton are due at the Etihad this weekend and they are a really tough side to break down.

I suppose four points from the back-to-back away games at United and Arsenal wasn’t a bad return – I think the manager will have settled for that. City were comfortable at Old Trafford, but Arsenal were much more formidable.

We started well enough and possibly should have kept the foot on the gas, but maybe one or two of the players are feeling a bit jaded and I can understand that. It’s been a long, hard season so far and there are still huge games to come.
