STEVAN Jovetic was in great form against Liverpool and scored two really well-taken goals.
He had a difficult first season at City but now he’s got a smile on his face again - and it’s great to see.
Jovetic had a good pre-season and seems to be carrying on that form. He’s definitely capable of banging in 20 goals or more this season.
There’s probably quite a few people out there who still don’t know much about him, but despite his youth he was a legend at Italian side Fiorentina. He scored tons of goals there - and hopefully is about to do that here, too!
Every Premier League game is tough and Stoke are up next. City will be strong favourites and have already set a very high standard. We ought to have enough to beat Mark Hughes’s side.
I got my commentary career underway at the Liverpool game. As part of my new role wih the City website and media team, I’m going to be commentating alongside Alistair Mann at all our home games for a new computer and tablet app. Ally is a top commentator, he’s been doing it for years for the BBC and Match of the Day and it’s a sign of the times that City has all these different ways of getting information out.
