City expect to make amends
Date published: 12 September 2014
MANCHESTER City head for Arsenal tomorrow determined to make amends for their 3-0 defeat to the Gunners in the Community Shield.
The shock hammering in August was the biggest loss City suffered since Manuel Pellegrini took charge in 2013.
City’s Argentine defender Pablo Zabaleta has told the Gunners to forget about thrashing Pellegrini’s men again when the title rivals go head to head in the Premier League.
The champions are still licking their wounds following a shock home defeat by Stoke before the international break. Zabaleta wants City to take out their frustration on the Gunners.
