Huge week in store for me and City

WHAT a massive week it promises to be for City, with Bayern Munich on Wednesday then Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Champions League group is a tough one, but if you are going to go all the way in a tournament like this you’ve got face teams like Bayern at some point.

City did well at the Allianz Arena last year so there’s no need to be fearful heading to Germany, though I’m sure Manuel Pellegrini would be delighted if he brought back a point tomorrow night.

Bayern are a great side, but we saw what Real Madrid did to them in the semi-finals last season.

There’s plenty of quality in the City squad so hopefully we can match them, or even better.

Then it’s back to the Etihad for the Chelsea game on Sunday. If Jose’s men win that one they could possibly go eight points clear of City. He has recruited well and Diego Costa looks a real player, in frightening form at the moment. Cesc Fabregas in another superb addition. Chelsea is going to be a tough nut to crack.

My latest feature for the City website is going to be an interesting one on Thursday. I’ll be tweeting more about it tomorrow, but basically I’ve got to get myself as far away from the Etihad Stadium within 24 hours, with no money!

I’m setting off at about 9am, and we’ll see if I can get any help off truck drivers or whatever.

It’s going to be interesting, and I’m taking my passport. Maybe I can get across to Europe on a truck, who knows?

It’s going to be an experience wherever I end up!
