IT’S going to be really bizarre for City today as they play CSKA Moscow in an empty Khimki arena.

BUt CSKA have to take their punishment.

Tonight’s ruling will be more detrimental to CSKA: they have fanatical support at home games normally, and they’ll miss that.

City will just have to treat it like a training match. But they’ll have to get that big match mentality right, because it’s a huge game in the grand scheme of things.

City need to pick up a point at the minimum to keep Champions League last 16 hopes alive.

Rome and Bayern are playing one another back-to-back too, so points will be dropped there. But having one point from three games at the halfway stage will be unthinkable.

City are capable of getting three points, particularly if Sergio Aguero is on his game.

Against Spurs he showed once again how he can carve teams open in a split second, gain that crucial half a yard on a defender and convert chances.

He looks like he’s back to his 100 per cent best again now - and that’s fantastic news for our supporters.
