No deal in sight for Reds strike ace

ROBIN van Persie is reportedly beginning to think his time at Manchester United is drawing to a close.
With the 31-year-old player now into the final 18 months of his contract, Van Persie is rumoured to be concerned talk hasn’t turned to a new deal.
United are yet to decide whether to extend his four-year contract, and a decision is likely to be made at the end of the season – at which stage the Red Devils will have to sell their striker if they want to recoup any of the £24m they spent on him or risk losing him for nothing a year later.
A source close to Van Persie said: “It is looking like his future will be elsewhere and he is beginning to think that himself.”
Meanwhile, as gear up for tomorrow’s Premier League clash at struggling QPR, the Reds have been linked with potential swoops for Mats Hummels, Kevin Strootman and Nathaniel Clyne as part of a £150m spending spree.
United, who splashed out huge money on stars in the summer, are still in the process of overhauling their squad under Louis van Gaal.
