New contract for Proctor

CRICKET: FORMER Royton and Oldham star Luke Procter has signed a one-year extension to his contract at Lancashire County Cricket Club.
The deal was announced alongside that of Blackpool-born left-arm seamer Toby Lester (22), who has been awarded his first professional contract.
Procter is a product of the Oldham CC youth system and played for the Pollards club before being appointed professional at Royton. A member of the LV= County Championship First Division-winning Lancashire team of 2011, all-rounder Procter struggled to make an impact this summer and played in the second team. But he is determined to fight back and prosper at the higher level.
Procter said: “Playing cricket for Lancashire is all I’ve ever wanted to do and I’m glad that I’ve got another 12 months here.”
