I am a former publican and prior to that owned a plant-hire business.
I have been lucky enough to work all my life, unlike many of our youngsters who have been thrown on the unemployment scrapheap.
Oldham does not need any more so-called migrant labour while we our own people are unemployed.
If elected, I would campaign to force the greedy banks, that taxpayers like us have bailed out, to provide low-interest loans to new businesses creating local manufacturing jobs.
I want to stop Oldham Council wasting public money on politically-correct projects such as printing leaflets in several languages and interpretation services.
Why should we pay for people who can’t even be bothered to learn English?
I would campaign against the proposed Saddleworth wind farm.
Wind power is inefficient and ruins our countryside. Global warming is just another scam being used to fleece us taxpayers.
I would campaign for more real police on the beat with more powers and less paperwork, because that would help make our streets safe once more.
Greater Manchester Police must take more action to clamp down on the scandal of Muslim paedophile gangs targeting vulnerable young girls.
I would campaign for local schools providing a traditional education, concentrating reading, writing and arithmetic, and give the teachers the right to instil discipline in the classroom.
I would work hard for the people of Oldham and listen to the public, because it is their wishes that matter the most.

This is a refreshing statement in straight understandable language, not dressed up by a team of paid post grad career politicians, but a honest heart felt statement from a man who cares about his country and it’s people and their children, Of all the candidates I feel Derek can be the only one who will tackle issues unconstrained by the Political Correct twaddle that suppresses true debate, and bye the way English has a N in it,
Global warming is a scam apparently. Perpetratrated by 95% of the world scientists. Perhaps Adams can show these scientists where their scienceis wrong. He'd win a nobel prize.
He'd be admired around the world...
But he can't and won't because he can't challenge the science, it's solid. Instead he just repeats the same lying mantras about it being a scam.
This is why the BNP should be allowed to express their views in public, to show people what bigots they are.

That is true, the earth every so many years has a warming & cooling period which it circles the sun, in the ice age the earth circles the sun in an oval circle where in warmer times like now the earth circles the sun in a normal circle, global warming is a load of rubbish & its just an excuse to get money from the public, in a few hundred years the earth will cool as it starts to circle the sun in an oval circle again. that's physics & also facts & the powers that be know it.
OldhamWatcher, who are these 95% of scientists? The science is not solid, it is full of holes.
Why should Polish migrants or any others who arrive here with no job get social housing?
I.8 million of the 2 million jobs created during the last Labour government were taken by immigrants ( Office of National Statistics) whilst Labour left millions of able bodied Britons on benefits. Labour don't put this on their election leaflets for some reason! Immigration suppresses wage levels and so we hear people, rightly, say that they will not be financially better off in work. Labour let that happen.
Ah Global warming! The reason 95% of scientists used to support it is much the same as the doctor who theorised stomach ulcers were caused by bacteria, the whole medical profession lined up against him until he as human guinea pig proved them wrong.
Global warming is a theory, it isn't proven, and now because the measurements have not returned the 'right' answers the name has been changed & it's now 'climate change'
This is about research funding & you don't get it by opposing!
For anyone with the time and inclination, I can post hundreds upon hundreds of links containing solid scientific method proving beyond contention that the earth's climate has changed due to man-made activity. It is a scientific fact now,has been for 15 years, is incontroversial and is acknowledged as such by practically the whole of the worlds serious scientific community.
Saddleworth's finest- It's quite true that the earth's eliptical orbit around the sun engenders temperature change. So does solar activity and the gravitational effect of other planets within the solar system. However, these issues are separate to the one of climate change due to human activities.
the facts are we where the richest nation on this planet,The axis of evil the lib/lab/con have lied stolen betrayed the people of this nation. They have moved out all the jobs to India.China>pakistan,they have taxed us to death, They have made billions out of the working class.They have lied lied lied.Iraq war/killing millions of people.Man made global warming another lie. This is so simplistic and amateurish it's almost a joke.
So he wants GMP to clamp down on 'Muslim Padophile Gangs' - playing to the galleries there matey while a recent Court case is still fresh in people's minds but omitting to point out that some of that particular gang were white Eglish, that some gangs are of other faiths. The use of 'clamp down' insinuates that the GMP turn a blind eye to this sort of thing - they most certainly do not and nor do any other Police force.
