We put you first, not party bosses

Election 2011

Election statement — Paul Nuttall (UKIP)

Thursday’s election presents local people in Oldham East and Saddleworth with a difficult choice.

Labour’s lies caused this by-election in the first place, the Lib-Dems’ recent lies over tuition fees have been all over the news and the Conservatives’ broken promises on the European Union send out a clear message that none of them can be trusted.

On the campaign trail, the main issues that you are raising on the doorstep are the economy, immigration and crime.

Can any of these parties actually make a difference, though?

All of them support unlimited immigration from Europe — giving almost half a billion people the right to live here, no questions asked.

They all want us to throw £45 million a day down the drain to the EU while Oldham jobs are being lost, and all of them now support giving prisoners the right to vote.

They are all soft on crime and none of them have the courage to protect the community by ensuring that violent thugs are locked up and kept off the streets.

Perhaps you feel that you can’t trust any of them, and you might be one of thousands of voters who are tempted to stay at home on the January 13. But if you do nothing, the Lib-Lab-Con establishment will have won again.

They will say that poor turnout was caused by the bad weather and nothing will change.

Three weeks ago, I couldn’t possibly have imagined the amount of support that I have received from local people who feel betrayed by their traditional parties.

It’s time to send them a message by electing a UKIP MP to talk common sense in Westminster and put you first not party bosses.”

Perhaps Mr Nuttall you could explain why your election advertising vehicle was parked in a clearly marked disabled bay over the Xmas period?
I dont think you've made much of an impression in Europe and I somehow doubt you would in London if by some miracle you were elected.
How much is a deposit now?

Mr Nuttall, Get your facts right before you say anything about any one. It was not proved against Mr Woolas, you are now talking like the Liberals, frightened of fighting an eletion the hard way, Get on with your eletion and do not bring up old reports to try and get votes. Mr Woolas was a very good MP

But UkIP aren't telling voters that they want to give 200,000 permits to immigrants each year! There is absolutely nothing patriotic about this bunch of neo-conservatives and the sooner native Britons wake up to it the better.

Im wondering what planet michael wood is living on?? woolas was a liar, and a cheat and that was proven in a court of law! other than that he was a useless MP, you could write to him, e-mail him or phone him and leave a message, and he would NEVER get back to you, you very rarely saw him in the locality, and TBH he did NOTHING for oldham.. time for a change, the big 3 are all the same. nothing changes! its UKIP for me this time!

Sorry, UKIP is nothing but an establishment safety valve party, it is used to take votes from the BNP, a waste of a vote really. Its leader Nigel Farage wants to allow 250,000 migrants a year into this country...is he mad?
