New equipment

CROMPTON House PTFA has agreed to pay for new keep-fit equipment, food mixers and a defibrillator, which will be based near reception.


FRIENDS of Dunwood Park is looking for new committee members as well as volunteers to help out in the cafe and a variety of other tasks around the park. Email dunwoodparkfriends@gmail.com for more information.

AN American tea afternoon will take place at St James’ School hall on Saturday, March 8, from 3pm. The event, costing £3.50, will be opened by Shaw Parish Council chairman Dave Murphy. It is in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

THE Rochdale to East Didsbury Metrolink service will use a replacement bus service between Central Park and Piccadilly tram stops from Friday, February 21, to Sunday, February 23.
