PLAYHOUSE 2, Shaw, is holding a children’s theatre festival this month.
Youth theatre day will be on Tuesday, April 15, early years on Wednesday, April 16, and fairytale day on Thursday, April 17. The cost is £15 per child. Visit www.lpatheatre.co.uk for details.

AN Easter sports camp is taking place at Oldham Academy North this school holiday. Try sports including football, cricket, basketball and dodgeball every day until Thursday, April 17, between 10am and 3pm. For ages eight to 16, it costs £3 per day or £12 per week. A HOSPICE to hospice walk in aid of Dr Kershaw’s takes place on Sunday, April 27. Fund-raisers will walk over seven miles between Dr Kershaw’s and Springhill in Rochdale.
SHAW Youth Centre, in Chapel Street, is offering pool, games and topical workshops on Mondays from 6.30pm until 9pm, costing 30p.
