Fun day

A FAMILY fun day is being held at Crompton Conservative Club, Queen Street, Shaw, in aid of local youngster Tehyah Folan-Clarke, who is seriously ill.

There will be music, stalls and children’s entertainment at the club from 2pm with all proceeds going to the fund. Call Christine on 07850-516 724 for more information.

FORMER Crompton House pupils who left the school in 1986 are being invited to a reunion at Heyside Cricket Club on Saturday, June 7, at 8pm. Tickets are available from the club, priced £5.

A LADIES night will be held at Cartshaft, St Mary’s Gate, Shaw, on Friday, June 6, with two Chippendales and a comedian. Tickets are priced at £10 with proceeds going to Tehyah Folan-Clarke. Call 01706-847 638 for more information.

SHAW and Crompton district executive and community forum takes place on Tuesday, June 24, at 7.30pm at the Lifelong Learning Centre, High Street, Shaw.
