THE Jamie’s Something Special fund-raising group — named after tragic toddler Jamie Heaton — is offering the chance to win a complete wedding package.

BEAL Vale Primary School in Salts Street, holds a funday on Saturday from 11am until 1.30pm with inflatables, crazy sand, bouncy castles, a magic show and performances from Anna’s Dance and pupils. Entrance costs £1.50 for adults, £1 for children, with money going towards the school’s orchard project.
A SCOUT’S coffee morning will be held on Saturday from 9am with a tombola and bric-a-brac at the British Legion, Newton Street, Shaw.
SHAW and Crompton district executive and community forum will be held at Shaw Lifelong Learning Centre, High Street, on Tuesday, June 24, from 7.30pm.
“LAST of the Summer Wine” — the stage show, is on at Playhouse 2, Newton Street, until Saturday, tickets £8. Call 01706-840 400 to book a place.
CROMPTON House School is holding intake days on Wednesday, June 18 and the following day from 5.30-7pm for the children who will be starting in September.
POP into Crompton Library and chat with others about books at Chat and Choose on Thursdays between 9.30 and 11.30am.
