STEVEN’S Get Well Soon fundraiser will be held at Crompton Cricket Club on Saturday, September 20, from 2pm till late.

There will be arts and crafts, a raffle, hot food and an all-day DJ to raise money for Manchester Children’s Hospital.


A MAN was seen acting in a lewd way towards a young woman in the vicinity of Salt Street, at around 2.45pm last Thursday. He is described as white, balding, around 5ft 10”, wearing a blue and green striped top and dark bottoms. Anyone with information should call police on 101.
