MP opens new-look post office branches

OLDHAM East and Saddleworth MP Debbie Abrahams has officially opened two remodelled post offices.
Both the Hardy Street and Shaw branches have been upgraded to offer improved services, including extended opening hours.
Postmaster of Hardy Street Post Office, Ramesh Mohandas, said: “I was delighted to have the opportunity to open the new branch. I hope our customers like the new look.
Hassan Ahmed, postmaster of Shaw Post Office, said: “I’d like to thank the local community for their continued support and use of the branch.”
Mrs Abrahams added: “The post office is vital to the community around Oldham and I’m sure the new improved branches and longer opening hours will be warmly welcomed.”
