A VAUXHALL Corsa was stolen from a driveway in Avis Street, Shaw, between 10pm on Tuesday, January 27, and 8.15am the next morning.
A LADIES night will take place at Shaw Bowling Club on Friday, February 20, with two strippers, a drag artiste and a potato pie supper. Tickets cost £8.
A MAN was arrested following a burglary in Parkside Avenue between 2.30pm and 2.49pm on Friday, January 30.
SHAW Parish Church hosts a toddler group in the church hall, Church Street, every Monday and Wednesday from 9.30 to 11.30am for under-fives. No need to book.
PROPERTY was stolen from a vehicle in Bickerstaffe Close, Shaw. between midnight and 11am on Sunday.
CROMPTON House’s next PTFA meeting is on Tuesday, February 10, at 7.30pm, and the Year 11 parents’ evening is on Wednesday, February 11, from 5 to 8pm. The Year 10 post-16 information evening scheduled for this evening has been postponed.
FILM night will take place at St Mary’s Church, High Crompton, on Wednesday, February 11, at 7.30pm. This year’s Lent course will be based on the film “The Way”, which will be shown at the church.
