Danny’s style skills set tongs wagging

A barber from Shaw is being groomed for superstardom after being selected as a member of the Mens Hairdressing Federation (MHF) artistic team.

Danny Robinson of Danny and Co Barbers in Milnrow Road, entered a competition last year for the sharpest young talents in the country.

Danny was one of four winners selected from thousands of entrants after scoring a perfect 10.

Danny said: “It’s incredible, the MHF is huge. To think that we are a little shop in Shaw it’s just amazing where we have gone since I opened. It’s like I’ve been pulled from a pub team into the premier league. I can’t believe it..

“Everyone who has won this award in the past has gone on to do big things, It’s all snowballed so quickly.

The winners will tour national shows over the next 12 months while learning from the elite of men’s hairdressers.
