FRIENDS of Jubilee Colliery are seeking volunteers to help maintain the heritage site and the surrounding area. Go to the colliery, on Shaw Road, between 10am and 2pm every Monday.
SHAW and Crompton community forum and district executive meeting will be held on Tuesday from 6pm at the Lifelong Learning Centre. The district executive meeting starts at 7pm.
DOG Hill Scout and Community campsite, in Buckstones Road, is holding a family fun day on Saturday from 1pm to 6pm.
