Ambulance staff in locker-raid drama
Date published: 03 June 2015
POLICE have charged two teenagers after a car was stolen and staff lockers raided at Crompton Ambulance Station.
The incident, in the early hours of Monday, saw the boys — aged 14 and 16 — force entry to the Moor Street station. The car was later involved in a collision in nearby Stalybridge.
In February, a lifesaving defibrillator worth around £1,000 was stolen from the depot only days after thieves had smashed the ladies’ toilet windows. The defibrillator was eventually found.
The pair will appear at Oldham Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
