KEEP fit with Royton, Shaw & Crompton Basketball Club on Wednesdays from 5.30 to 8pm at Royton & Crompton School Sports Hall, Blackshaw Lane.

Anyone aged from eight to 16 is welcome to come and learn new skills with this brand new club for just £1.


CROMPTON House school has announced its arrangements for the final week of term. “The Celebration of Christmas Music” takes place on Wednesday, December 18 at 7.30pm. Non-uniform day is on Thursday, December 19. Friday is Christmas Communions and school closes at 12.25pm.

CROMPTON House school’s Christmas fair was a huge success, raising £3,500 for charity.

ASDA Shaw has applied to extend delivery hours by one hour from between 7am and 10pm Monday to Saturday to 6am to 10pm and from between 10am and 5pm Sunday and bank holidays to 9am and 5pm.
