HAVE your voice heard and speak to local councillors at the Royton District Executive meeting and community forum on Monday, March 17, at Royton Youth Centre, Chapel Street, from 6pm.


THE Women’s World Day of Prayer service will take place at SS Aiden and Oswald’s Church, Vaughan Street, Royton, on Friday, at 2pm. The service is organised and led by Christian women on the first Friday of March every year.


PARENTS are invited to have their cake and eat it at SS Aidan and Oswald RC Primary School on Friday. Part of the school’s Fairtrade Fortnight celebrations, a cake stall complete with fairtrade drinks and cakes will be open from 2.30pm.


ROYTON Local History Society will hear from Brian Hallworth as he takes them down “Forget-me-not Lane” in a talk about Second World War families on the home front on Monday, March 10. Taking place at Downey House, the event starts at 7.30pm. Members free, visitors £1.50 with refreshments included.


ROYTON Townswomen’s Guild will be holding its annual meeting at 7.30pm on Tuesday, March 11, at Royton Town Hall.
