Bring and buy

AN Easter bring-and-buy sale will take place at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice on Saturday. Visitors are asked to bring gifts for use at future tombolas and raffles for the hospice as well as buy from a selection of stalls between 10am and 1pm.


FRIENDS of Royton are looking for new volunteers to help out with events and activities in the district. Support and training will be provided. Anyone interested in volunteering is urged to contact the Royton District Team on 0161-770 3850 or by emailing linda.cain@oldham.gov.uk.


A COLLECTION box for Oldham Foodbank has been set up at Royton Youth Centre on Chapel Street. Donations can be dropped in any weekday morning or evening. For more details contact Cat or Lynda on 0161-770 8648.


PLANS to change offices at 14A Middleton Road, Royton, into a dental surgery have been withdrawn.
