A TALK, “Men, Women and Machines” will be given by Ray Ashton at Royton Local History Society, Downey House, tonight at 7.30.


The talk is free to members and £1.50 for visitors, including refreshments.

ROYTON Townswomen’s Guild will host Eileen Scowcroft on Tuesday as she gives a talk at Royton Town Hall about gardening. Starting at 7.30pm, the talk costs £1 for members or £2 for visitors and includes refreshments.



A PLANNING application to change the use of 728 Rochdale Road, Royton, from a shop into a personal training studio has been received by the council.



NETBALL training for girls aged five to 16 takes place every Wednesday at Oldham Academy North from 6.30 until 8pm.



SHARE stories and rhymes at Royton Library every Thursday from 10-11am. The free sessions are designed to help develop language and communication in babies and young children up to the age of five.
