ANYONE going on holiday this summer is being urged to let the police know information such as holiday dates, their key holder and contact numbers, so officers can get in touch should something happen.

GET on board for a free health MOT test on Friday as the Health First Stop Bus comes to town. The bus will be visiting Asda Shaw from 10am to give advice about stopping smoking, blood pressure tests and weight management.

PICK up local produce at Royton’s Real Food Market on Sunday, June 1. Open from 10am until 2pm, the market sells the best of local food producers.

Royton Road Runners received a donation of £500 from Xtra Mile Events in recognition of the efforts of the club’s volunteers at the drinks station during the Greater Manchester Marathon. Lee Vaughan, from Xtra Mile, said: “The group’s help was invaluable in making the event a success and we would really like to thank Royton Road Runners for this.”
