SAY hello to Santa as he tours the streets of Royton collecting donations for charity this week. Organised by The Rotary Club of Crompton and Royton, the festive float will be setting off around the town tomorrow from Royton Market car park at 6.15pm and on Thursday, setting off from Clayton Playing Fields Car Park at 6.15pm. Santa will also be visiting Royton Co-op on Saturday from 10am to 1pm.


ROYTON Local History Society will hear from Freda Millett as she shares her personal story of her upbringing and the role her grandma played. The talk, on Monday December 8, from 7.30pm at Downey House, will be followed by festive refreshments. Entrance is free for members or £1.50 for visitors.
