NETBALL in the community sessions take place at Oldham Academy North every Wednesday from 6.30pm to 8pm — open to all children aged five and over with each session costing £3.50

BYRON Street in Royton will be closed for five days from Monday, January 19, while the steel frame for Royton’s new leisure centre is construction.

DR Kershaw’s Hospice will be hosting an Unwanted Gifts Day on Sunday, from 10am to 2pm. The public can donate any unwanted presents, chocolates or toys at the hospice so they can be used in future fundraising tombolas, raffles and hampers.
