ROYTON Townswomen Guild will host Kershaw’s Crooners for a musical evening on Tuesday, April 14.
The concert is at Royton Town Hall (7.30pm). Entrance is £2 for members, £3 for visitors, including refreshments. Information: Carole Miller on 0161-633 6126.
A TALK entitled “A Search for a Victorian Fidler across the seas”, by John Fidler, will take place at Royton Local History Society, Downey House, Church Street, on Monday, April 13. Entrance, from 7.30pm, is free for members or £1.50 for visitors, including refreshments.

AN Easter sports camp will take place at Oldham Academy North from Tuesday, April 7, until Friday, April 10, 10am to 3pm. Designed for those aged eight to 16, the camp costs £4 a day. No booking required.

PLANS for the building of a new Lidl store on land off Middleton Road, Royton, can be viewed on the Oldham Council website. The plans include the demolition of existing structures on the site the building of the retail store,a car park and other landscaping works.
