M60 bridge jump threat

THE M60 was closed at Junction 22 for Chadderton when a man threatened to jump off a motorway bridge.
Police were called to the scene at 10.15pm on Friday and the man in his 30s was talked down at around 11.50pm.
Motorway police tweeted that three drivers were fined for using the hard shoulder to try and avoid the queues.
