RADCLYFFE School pupils made headlines yesterday . . . by becoming journalists.
They were among thousands of students who took part in the BBC’s annual School Report Day, when schools turn their classrooms into newsrooms.
Year 8s made video and audio reports about the Chadderton secondary’s recent World Book Bay celebrations, its forthcoming production of “Annie” and fund-raising for Sport Relief.
They will be published on the Hunt Lane school’s website. The BBC website will also have a link to the stories.
English teacher Trevor Callanan said: “The students have been imaginative and enthusiastic. Taking on a variety of roles, they acted very professionally and have been rewarded with a fantastic end product.”
