Boy, 13, serious after being struck by lorry

A 13-year-old boy is in a serious but stable condition after being in collision with a lorry in Eustace Street, Chadderton yesterday afternoon.
The boy was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary with a broken leg and head injuries, but these were not thought to be life-threatening.
