Machine Fitness owners Mark Strain (l) and Chris Kendrick.
TWO men with a passion for keeping fit have turned their hobby into a fast-growing business.
Mark Strain from Chadderton and Chris Kendrick from Lees, have set up Machine Fitness, an online suppliery of more than 40 lines of gym and fitness clothing.
After starting in Mark’s garage at his home they have now established themselves in offices in Chadderton, processing orders from across the UK — and an increasing number from abroad — for despatch from their warehousing operation.
Such has been the success of the venture — established only 18 months ago — the duo are now full-time and already looking for larger premises for their products, sourced from China.
They have come a long way since their last jobs — working together at TK Maxx in Oldham — and fully intend continuing at their present rate of growth.
