Sally Littlewood celebrates her 100th birthday with husband Joe (99).
HALF of Oldham’s oldest couple celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday.
Sally Littlewood was born in Lees in 1914, and lived there until she married husband Joe (99) in June, 1939, before the pair moved to Chadderton.
She celebrated her birthday with a party at Bickerton Court, where she now lives, with family and friends.
Sally said: “We feel really blessed, we have been so fortunate all of our lives. We have good health, great family and friends and have some amazing memories.
“I put my longevity down to a good family, always being happy with life . . . and whisky in my tea!”
Sally and husband Joe celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary in May.
