ST Matthew’s Playgroup holds its Christmas Fair at North Chadderton School, Chadderton Hall Road, from noon to 4pm on November 30. Princesses Anna and Elsa will open the event, which includes Santa’s grotto, stalls, mulled wine, badge making, face painting and more.
KIND-HEARTED Radclyffe School pupils are filling shoeboxes with gifts for disadvantaged children in developing countries as part of the national Operation Christmas Child initiative.
ST George’s Church, Broadway, holds a carol service at 4.30pm on November 30 to mark the start of advent.
A PINK Friday at Burnley Brow Primary School, Victoria Street, raised £428 for Breast Cancer Care.
