PUPILS at Burnley Brow Primary School, Victoria Street, raised £345 for research into genetic disorders when they took part in Jeans for Genes day.
A CHARITY exercise bike ride takes place in the foyer of Asda, Milne Street, on Friday to raise money for Chadderton Together which supports local voluntary projects.
ST MATTHEW’S Primary School, Chadderton Hall Road, holds its Christmas Fair from 11am to noon on Saturday. There is also a fair at at St Mark’s Church, Milne Street, from 11.30am to 2pm on the same day.
PUPILS at Stanley Road Primary School, Derby Street, are holding a non-uniform day on Friday in aid of the Salvation Army toy appeal.
NEWMAN College holds its annual celebration evening from 6 to 8 on Friday.
PATCHWORK Parade, Russell Street, holds its Christmas open day from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Saturday. Entries in its wall hanging and cushion competition will be on display.
