THE public can have their say on plans for a 20-acre park between Broadway and Foxdenton Lane as part of the Foxdenton housing and business development.

A consultation event takes place at Kingfisher School, Foxdenton Lane, from 5 to 8pm tomorrow.


THE Musical Friends concert at St Herbert’s Parish Centre, Broadway, in aid of Cancer Research UK on April 17 has been postponed.


BUSINESS pupils from North Chadderton School, Chadderton Hall Road, visited Fuller’s Brewery, The Bank of England, the Museum of Brands and the London Eye during a half-term trip to the capital.

MEMBERS of the student council at Newman College, Broadway, held an assembly to mark Good to Talk Day which raises awareness of mental health.


ST Matthew’s Church, Chadderton Hall Road, is holding a six-week Lent course from 11am to 12.30pm on Wednesdays followed by a lunch of homemade soup and bread. It is also holding its parish retreat at St Oswald’s Retreat Centre, near Whitby, from May 8 to 10.


A HOMEOWNER has been given permission to turn a garage into a room at 29 North Dene Park. A planning application has also been submitted for an extension at 46 Milne Street.
