Kids Camp

BEAT the holiday boredom this half term with the Kids Camp at Radclyffe Athletics Centre, Hunt Lane, for six to 12-year-olds.

PATCHWORK Parade, Russell Street, is holding its third annual patchwork, quilting and craft fair at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, on Saturday, from 10.30am to 3.30pm. It will include an exhibition of quilts, cushions, wall hangings and cloth dolls, as well as demonstrations, a raffle, tombola and refreshments. Admission is £2.50 (under 16s free). ENJOY everything from Handel to Madness at a charity concert by the BMS singers at South Chadderton Methodist Church, Thompson Lane, from 7.45pm on Tuesday, March 31. The singers will be performing a range of classical and contemporary music. Tickets cost £5, £3 concessions.


SCIENCE students at Newman College, Broadway, are hatching their own chicks in an incubator.


GUEST speaker Robert Millin will be giving the low down on entering competitions at the next meeting of Oldham Photographic Society. It takes place at the Blue Club, Victoria Street, on April 2, 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.


Chadderton Wellbeing Centre, Burnley Street, will be open from 7.30am to 2.30pm on Good Friday and Easter Monday. Radclyffe Athletics Centre, Hunt Lane, will be closed on both days.
