Man jailed over child images

A MAN has been sentenced to 15 months in prison for possessing and distributing indecent images of a child.
Anthony Pennington (28) of Rosen Square, Chadderton, was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court. He was also charged with failing to comply with conditions of a sexual offences prevention order in January.
Police received a report that indecent images had been sent through social media on January 9 and he pleaded guilty by Oldham magistrates three days later.
Pennington was jailed for three months possessing and distributing the images and 12 months for breaching the order.
