THE Year 8 netball team from Newman College, Broadway, won a tournament at Boreatton Park, Shropshire, organised by the educational trip company PGL.
CHADDERTON Wellbeing Centre, Burnley Street, will be open from 7.30am to 2.30pm on Good Friday and Easter Monday. Radclyffe Athletics Centre, Hunt Lane, will be closed.

CHILDREN aged eight to 11 can take part in street dance, team-building exercises and arts and crafts at the Get Active session at South Chadderton Youth Centre, Lancaster Street. They run from 5.30 to 7pm on Thursdays and cost 60p.
NORTH Chadderton School, Chadderton Hall Road, held a range of Pi-themed maths lessons to celebrate international Pi day. Science teacher Liz Fogarty also won a year’s supply of Holland’s pies.
THE next Chadderton Home Watch meeting takes place at 7.30pm on Tuesday, April 14. New members are welcome at Chadderton Wellbeing Centre, Burnley Street.
