Motorbike rider hurt

A MOTORBIKE rider was taken to hospital after an accident this morning.
The collision, between a red Honda motorbike and a silver Honda Accord, happened close to the slip road of the A627 on Chadderton Way at 6.40am.
The 48-year-old woman was treated at the scene for shoulder injuries and was taken to hospital for further assessment, although she was not thought to be seriously hurt.
The driver of the car suffered no injuries.
