As the only candidate who actually lives in the ward, I am aware of the day-to-day problems in the ward. I will propose a 10 per cent cut in councillors basic expenses and 20 per cent off chairmanÕs allowances from day one. People want value for money but every day they see waste that the council seems oblivious to.
