Our ambition
Sporting Derker was established in August, 2007 to provide affordable footballing opportunities for young people.
Derker is close to the centre of Oldham and is officially acknowledged as a deprived area. There are no facilities organised on a regular basis for our youth to participate in.
We pride ourselves on drawing our footballing talent from our own community.
We will not turn any child away because of financial hardship and our costs are the lowest in the league.
Our ambition is to develop the club, over the coming years, to embrace all the young people of school age who have a desire to play and compete in this great game.
We will achieve this goal because we are a community of pride, passion and perseverence and because we are truly committed to the development of our young people.
